From Ceramic Sculptor to Fine Jewelry Craftsman

Steven Biggs grew up in Southern California, where he enjoyed surfing and hiking along the coast. His passion for the fine arts led him to ceramics, which he practiced for many years before discovering his love for jewelry. Inspired by the ocean and outdoors, Steve founded the Steven Douglas Company in 1988 with the goal of creating high-quality figurative jewelry with old-world craftsmanship.



Over the past 35 years, Steve has designed hundreds of innovative pieces, from highly detailed works to whimsical creations, earning worldwide recognition for both himself and his company.
